BIO
Otis is a 2-year-old eurasian brute. He is a handsome wolf, but nothing out of the ordinary; his true treasure is his brain and muscle. Otis sports a pelt much like his sister's, but not as shiny or impressive as hers. His fur is mostly a muted honey brown tone, with black and gray accents framing his face and yellow-green eyes. A rusty brown color frames his ears and muzzle, complementing his white underbelly. Otis's face is flat and round, with a medium length, fat muzzle. He is the average size for a male wolf, five and a half feet in length and a foot and eight inches tall. His muscle makes him a bit heavier, with a weight of 110 pounds. Otis's heftier body brings him speed, agility, and strength. He is very intelligent and a problem-solver, which allows him to think fast to keep himself and his sister, Nyla, safe and fed. Nyla does not, cannot, and will not learn to, hunt. This leaves Otis catching all the prey. He still loves his sister, despite her utter uselessness, as he is a very compassionate and understanding brute. Otis treats his sister like a queen and always puts her above himself. It runs in the family; his older half-brother, Harlow, did the same for their mother, Renee, in the time before her passing.
Otis's was a very tough birth. His extremely elderly mother, Renee, stayed in labor for a few of days, only managing to give birth to three of her expected seven pups. Otis was born within the first half of the first day, and Nyla, his sister, the second half. Their other littermate was stillborn soon after Nyla. Renee took her final breath on the third, although she had been severely ill and mostly unconscious for the days after her three births. Nyla and Otis were taken in and named by a young fae named Ramona, who told them the tales of Renee, but never how she died. Ramona said that she was in love with a brute named Harlow, that she had been living in the clearing beside his family and saw him hunting nearby when she instantly knew she loved him. Ramona told Nyla and Otis that Harlow was their older half-brother, who had left Renee when she was pregnant to find a pack and bring her and her babies to peace and happiness. Ramona was so sad Harlow left, and told the two that they must meet him and bring him back to her. Nyla and Otis were raised well this way, and when Ramona was killed by a bear, they fled their home in search of a new life together, trying to escape their wretched past and seeking out a brighter future.
